Child Safety Standards
Our commitment
Après Ski has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any content or behaviour that sexualises minors. Any such content or account is removed and reported.
Who can use Après Ski
Après Ski is for people aged 16 and over. Every user must give their date of birth when signing up, and accounts under 16 are blocked from joining. If we learn that a user is under 16, we close the account.
What is not allowed
- You may not post, share, request or link to any content that sexualises or exploits minors.
- You may not use Après Ski to contact, groom, pressure or solicit a minor, or to arrange meeting a minor for any sexual purpose.
- You may not share personal information or images of minors in a way that puts them at risk.
How to report
- In the app: long-press any message or open a user's profile and tap Report. You can also block the user in one tap.
- By email: contact hi@thinkwithiss.com with "Child safety" in the subject line. Include the username, resort and a description of what you saw. Please do not send copies of illegal images.
What we do when something is reported
- Child safety reports are reviewed as a priority, normally within 24 hours.
- Content that breaks this policy is removed and the account responsible is banned.
- Apparent CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant national authorities, such as PHAROS in France, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests.
- We preserve relevant information as required by law to support investigations.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact your local emergency services first (112 in Europe, 911 in the US). You can also report to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or to the Internet Watch Foundation at report.iwf.org.uk.
Child safety contact
Our designated child safety contact can be reached at hi@thinkwithiss.com and is able to speak about our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
